First on our list is Robert Cahill, who will be presenting to our Grade 4, 5, and 6 students.  Mr Cahill will be talking about Global Warming, and its effect on Canada’s Arctic.  Mr Cahill has extensive experience learning about northern areas and their people, and is considered an expert.  For more info, check out his website at www.huskydog.com., where Mr Cahill explains his presentations in depth. Next we have award-winning author Kenneth Oppel.  He is best known for his Silverwing series, but has written many books for all levels of readers.  Along with presenting to over 400 students in the Kelowna area, Mr Oppel will also be speaking on Thursday, March 4th, at 7:00 pm at the Kelowna Community Theater.  This event is open to the public and is Free!!!  For more information about Mr Oppel and his books, please visit his website at http://www.kennethoppel.ca/.
